After taking part last July in the mission in Singapore and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, EMEC has been selected again by the European Union for joining EU Gateway business missions, an initiative funded by the EU for helping picked European companies to establish long-lasting business collaborations in Asian markets, more specifically in Japan, China, Korea and South East Asia (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam).
EMEC took part in two important events in the second half of November, both in Lyon, France.
From November 15 to 18, our wide range of products for swimming pools was on exhibition at Piscine Global Europe 2016, the “world’s foremost exhibition for the swimming pool and spa industries” and also an “international benchmark for the sector”. Our specific configurations of instruments for swimming pools attracted many visitors at EMEC booth, among the 17,876 visitors in attendance at the Eurexpo exhibition and convention centre. 39% of those visitors came from outside of France, representing 98 countries.
In the first week of October the best EMEC products have been on show in two important exhibitions linked with wide and expanding markets like those of North Africa and Middle East. While Pollutec Maroc is growing every year, being part of the POLLUTEC global series also featuring exhibitions in France (where EMEC will be from November 29 to December 2), Algeria, Brazil and China, WETEX is now one of the biggest of its kind due to its 1,900 exhibitors coming to Dubai from 46 countries.
The last weekend EMEC continued its “tour” in the USA by showing our products in New Orleans, at WEFTEC 2016, the Water Environment Federation’s 89th annual Technical Exhibit and Conference. WEFTEC is one of the biggest event of its kind in North America with more than 20,000 people visiting, from September 24 to 28, the more than 1,000 exhibitors’ booths, including the EMEC one.
