After taking part last July in the mission in Singapore and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, EMEC has been selected again by the European Union for joining EU Gateway business missions, an initiative funded by the EU for helping picked European companies to establish long-lasting business collaborations in Asian markets, more specifically in Japan, China, Korea and South East Asia (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam).
The new Environment & Water Technologies business mission to South East Asia that EMEC will take part in will kick off on March 17th in Singapore, including business-to-business meetings, networking events and exhibitor spotlight sessions.
After the 19th, the business week will continue in Manila, in the Philippines, for three business exhibition days that will take place at the Trade Exhibition Venue as part of WaterPhilippines 2019, one of the leading water industry event in the ASEAN area. The event is expected to attract more than 8,500 trade visitors including key players in the water industry.
The opportunity to participate in EU Gateway business missions, by meeting the eligibility criteria, is once again an important opportunity to strengthen EMEC expansion into the Asian markets. “EU Gateway | Business Avenues” program is indeed the leading business platform for establishing successful partnerships between European and Asian firms, and its business missions act as fundamental entry tickets for European companies to markets with opportunities but also challenging business culture or regulatory constraints.
