EMEC into Australian nature with MAX5

The MAX5 control instrument is one of our most versatile multiparameter digital system, thanks to its 5 channels that can be programmed to manage simultaneously the same numbers of parameters and thanks to the many options of connection and configuration available. Besides versatility, MAX5 is also provided with a wide LCD display screen and the possibility to be remotely controlled by ERMES, the exclusive online control system created by EMEC and reachable from any device and any browser.

So, it is not surprising that Monash University based in Melbourne, the biggest one in Australia and ranked among the best in the world, has chosen the MAX5 for water monitoring at The Jock Marshal Reserve, located next to the university campus. Our distributor in Australia, Convergent Water Controls, has set up the 5 programmable channels of MAX5 installed beside the lake to monitor pH level, temperature, dissolved oxygen, turbidity and conductivity, both of surface water and of water at a depth of 30 cm.

Thanks to ERMES the researchers can access remotely and in real-time to the collected data to make them available to anyone who visit the website of the reserve. Data of each parameter can be represented as graph in real time or historical and can be saved in CSV format.

A valuable contribution for researchers and students of the university made possible by a single but powerful instrument: the MAX 5.
