O movimento alternativo resulta em um fornecimento de fluxo sinusoidal, de modo que o fluxo do produto bombeado n\u00e3o \u00e9 cont\u00ednuo, mas pulsante. A taxa de fluxo ou o volume da bomba \u00e9 controlado pela varia\u00e7\u00e3o do curso do diafragma.
