The first is the systematic adoption of brushless technology, both for the powder dosing unit and for the mixer agitator (220 W, with a twin-blade propeller, 4 blades, Ø 400 mm). No brushes means no friction, no mechanical wear, and no heat dissipation. The expanded models (PLD-3000, PLD-4500, PLD-6000) consume between 0.7 and 1 kW at full capacity. For a machine operating continuously, the annual savings on the electricity bill are significant, and this is in addition to reduced maintenance costs and a smaller carbon footprint. Electronic speed control (60–80 rpm) via the HMI also allows the agitation to be calibrated to the polymer being used, preventing mechanical degradation of the polymer chain.
The second pillar is modular design. TetraMix starts with a master tank and expands with additional modules that are easily assembled using gaskets and screws. Four configurations cover production volumes ranging from 1,500 to 6,000 liters per hour. As the plant grows, you don’t replace the machine—you simply add a module. The initial investment is protected, obsolescence is minimized, and scalability is guaranteed.
The third distinguishing feature is related to construction: TetraMix tanks are made of molded HDPE, not welded. A welded tank has joints—points where the material has been fused and reassembled—which are statistically the most susceptible to failure under thermal, hydraulic, or chemical stress. A molded tank, on the other hand, is a single, monolithic unit with consistent mechanical properties and uniform chemical resistance across its entire surface. For the customer, this means longer service life, fewer plant shutdowns, and lower costs for extraordinary maintenance.
The fourth pillar is maneuverability; a tank weighs only 60 kg. An accessible and intuitive 7″ touchscreen HMI, and Ethernet TCP/IP communication for remote monitoring. The hopper can be hermetically sealed for operator safety, an IP65-rated ABS enclosure for the electronics, and a comprehensive alarm system (emergency stop, low water flow, minimum and maximum levels, and overflow). The modular design simplifies installation, inspection, and maintenance: every component remains accessible.
TetraMix is not just a product: it proves that energy efficiency, flexibility, reliability, and ergonomics are not mutually exclusive goals, but can be achieved simultaneously.
