Alessandro: Building Connections, Inside and Outside EMEC

Alessandro: Building Connections, Inside and Outside EMEC

Some people join the company with technical skills, others with industry experience, and still others—in addition to all of that—with a natural ability to build connections between people, ideas, and projects. This is certainly true of Alessandro Carlaccini, who has been part of the EMEC team for several months now and has agreed to tell us a bit about his career path and his passions.

His professional career began over fifteen years ago in the field of communications. After completing his studies in communication, Alessandro delved deeper into topics related to marketing, digital media, and user acquisition strategies, gaining experience in a wide variety of settings: communications agencies, public organizations, cooperatives, and associations. This diverse career path has allowed him to develop a broad and comprehensive understanding of the world of digital communication.

The decision to join EMEC was motivated by several factors. On the one hand, there was the desire to challenge myself in a new industry; on the other, the desire to contribute to the growth of a dynamic and ever-evolving company. But there is also a more personal motivation: staying close to his roots. As he himself explains, “I was drawn to the opportunity to work for a company close to my hometown. That was an important factor in my decision.”

When we ask him what he values most about his job, his answer comes without hesitation: creativity. But that’s not all. Alessandro places great value on the relationships he builds every day at work and on the opportunities to exchange ideas with colleagues from different fields.

“I enjoy the exchange of ideas during a project because it allows me to learn continuously. Working with people from different departments—from the more technical ones to the more administrative ones—is an opportunity for professional and personal growth.”

Among his strengths, he highlights his knowledge of digital tools, web platforms, and data analysis—skills that enable him to turn information and insights into concrete actions. However, what stands out most clearly in his account is his focus on people and collaboration.

What strikes him most about the EMEC environment is the warm welcome and the simplicity of interpersonal relationships. Another aspect he considers significant is the presence of many colleagues with long tenures at the company: “Finding people who have worked here for many years is an important sign. It means the company is solid and that, despite the difficulties every organization faces along the way, many people have chosen to stay.”

Outside the office, Alessandro has many interests. He loves to travel, explore new places, spend time in nature, read, and engage in cultural activities, especially music. And with a smile, he admits to a small professional contradiction: “Even though I work directly in marketing, I’m a victim of it: I often fall for gimmicks!”

Looking ahead, she envisions an even stronger EMEC and a more structured marketing department, capable of providing ever-better support for the company’s growth. Her personal goal is to help streamline processes and further foster collaboration among the various departments.

What if you could choose a superpower? No question about it: “I’d love to be able to clone myself, so I could be more effective and support all my colleagues whenever they need it.”

An answer that, when you think about it, really captures his approach to work: with curiosity, a collaborative spirit, and the belief that the best results always come from the ability to build relationships and work together.
