The project enables the evolution of testing systems through a technological upgrade that integrates the measurement of electrical and functional parameters, Modbus communication, and the recording of results in a database. The new test bench was developed to handle testing of both analog and digital pumps, ensuring more comprehensive and precise performance monitoring.

One of the most important aspects is the ability to objectively evaluate all the tests performed. The values recorded during testing provide useful information for analyzing performance trends, identifying any anomalies, and supporting product improvement efforts. Systematic data collection allows for comparing results over time and monitoring system reliability. The test bench is also designed to print a test certificate listing the values measured during the tests. This feature allows for objective documentation of the tests performed and ensures greater product traceability by providing certification of the tests conducted.

The development of the new test bench required teamwork, in which expertise in electronics, software, mechanics, and quality control came together to achieve the best possible result. The technical team—composed of Davide Verna, Marco Salciccia, Andrea Manetta, Giuseppe Franchino, and Francesco Zuverino—oversaw the various phases of the project, with each member contributing their expertise to defining solutions and validating the system.
The new Cate test bench thus represents another step toward more controlled production, where technology does more than simply verify the product; it becomes a practical tool for understanding its performance, improving its quality, and making the testing process increasingly reliable.
